AI visibility features
AirOps AI visibility features

AirOps organizes its platform around three flows: Insights (visibility tracking), Pages (content optimization), and Actions (production workflows). What Insights measures, Actions fixes.
Insights: tracked-prompt visibility

You configure your brand, competitors, and a portfolio of target prompts; AirOps queries ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews on a schedule and reports whether you’re cited, mentioned, or recommended with share of voice, sentiment, and per-topic competitor comparison.
Page360 and gap-based optimization

AirOps ties visibility data to page-level analytics (including GSC data) and generates specific content recommendations for prompts where you lack. The Content Refresh workflow acts on these directly against your published pages.
Workflows and the Grid

AirOps’ execution layer is a drag-and-drop builder chaining 40+ AI models, with Brand Kits and Knowledge Bases keeping bulk output on-voice, human-in-the-loop checkpoints for review, and the Grid running workflows across hundreds of pages at once, then publishing via direct WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify integrations.
Ahrefs Brand Radar: AI visibility features

Brand Radar maintains an index of 405M+ prompts sourced from what people actually type into Google, with Ahrefs’ 110B-keyword database filtered by search volume, plus People Also Ask questions, and runs them across 7 AI platforms (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude). Nothing is scoped to a domain, you can query the index for any brand, history included. Impressions are weighted by real search volume, and mentions and citations are tracked as separate metrics.
Any-entity competitor analysis

Type any competitor into the search field, and the index returns its AI visibility instantly, no configuration, no waiting for tracking to accumulate. Share of Voice splits by platform; the “Not mentioned” and “Not cited” filters surface the exact prompts, fan-out queries, and cited pages where rivals appear and you don’t. The Topics report clusters those prompts into themes ranked by real search demand, so you can effectively prioritize content backlog.
Search demand, web, social

AI answers are grounded in search patterns, web content, and human discussion. Brand Radar tracks all three:
- Search Demand trends your branded keyword volume with history back to 2015.
- Web Visibility monitors linked and unlinked mentions across the web, updated every few minutes, important to keep track of since link metrics directly correlate with AI visibility.
- YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit reports to find brand mentions down to the exact spot in video transcripts and the subreddits ranking in Google for your niche.
Letaido: the automation layer

Where AirOps automates content production, Ahrefs’ automation route is Letaido, which is a separate AI teammate platform (priced separately) plugged directly into Brand Radar and the rest of the Ahrefs toolset. Letaido can pull Brand Radar data on a schedule, including citation gaps, competitor mentions, topics losing share of voice, and act on it: drafting briefs, writing and publishing articles, building dashboards, or reporting to Slack.
AirOps vs Ahrefs Brand Radar Data methodology
| Category | AirOps | Ahrefs Brand Radar |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt source | Not disclosed | Real Google search queries (110B-keyword index + People Also Ask) |
| Volume signal | None | Every prompt tied to measurable search volume |
| Coverage model | 100 prompts on Solo (ChatGPT only), 250 on Pro (multi-engine); blind outside them | 405M+ pre-collected prompts across 7 platforms; custom prompts fill funnel gaps |
| Refresh cadence | Monthly on Solo, weekly on Pro | AI index ongoing; search demand every few days; web visibility every few minutes |
| Historical data | Accumulates from setup date | Included instantly with the index |
The methodological gap here is wider than in most comparisons, because visibility tracking isn’t AirOps’ center of gravity, content automation is. After the first two days of testing, AirOps couldn’t display my data, which means they don’t have real daily tracking as they claim. Insights measures the prompts you thought to enter, at whatever cadence your plan allows, with no way to tell whether those prompts represent real demand or a guess. That’s workable as a feedback signal on content you’re already producing, which is the job Insights was built for. But as a market-intelligence method, it has a blind spot by design: it can’t show you the prompts you never entered, and with a monthly refresh on Solo, it can’t show you momentum either.
Brand Radar approaches it from the opposite end, by collecting the questions people demonstrably ask first, running them continuously, and letting any brand’s standing be looked up rather than tracked into existence. Read more about the methodology here.

Which is better: AirOps or Ahrefs Brand Radar?
AirOps is a content automation platform with a workflow builder, Brand Kits, and the Grid to produce and publish AEO-optimized content at volume, and its Insights module adds just enough visibility tracking to steer that machine.
On the other hand, Brand Radar is a dedicated AI visibility tool: a massive 405M+ prompt index from across 7 AI platforms, instant analysis of any brand category, and search demand dating to 2015, near real-time web mentions, Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok that explain why your AI visibility moves.
| You need | Which fits |
|---|---|
| Bulk content production with on-brand consistency and CMS publishing | AirOps |
| Tracking limited to prompts you already know matter | AirOps Insights |
| Discover prompts, topics, and gaps you didn't know to look for | Ahrefs Brand Radar |
| Competitor analysis without pre-configuration | Ahrefs Brand Radar |
| The sources behind AI answers: search demand, web, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok | Ahrefs Brand Radar |
| Automated execution inside the Ahrefs ecosystem | Ahrefs + Letaido |
For most teams, it’s intelligence first, then execution. A month of Brand Radar data tells you whether you’re missing from 10 prompts or 300, and helps you determine how much content automation you actually need.
On the intelligence layer, Ahrefs Brand Radar takes the win.
